Arrival
Access instructions are sent before arrival.
Always keep the main gate closed. It keeps the ranch animals safe and on the property.
Share the ranch safely
A family beehive lives on the property. Please keep your distance unless you are wearing proper protective clothing.
Our pasture animals weigh around 700 pounds. Never jump the fence or enter the pastures; the gates remain locked for everyone’s safety.
You are welcome to feed and pet the animals from behind the fence. Their feed is kept on the house porch.
Equine guests
Your horse is welcome to stay in a private barn stall. Please let us know before arrival so we can have it ready.
We can also set aside a section of pasture for your horse or horses.
Cool down
The pool is serviced daily and its chemistry is kept on target.
No diving.
Only open the pool umbrella in calm conditions, and close it when you are finished for the day.
After sunset
Wood left by the fire pit after ranch maintenance is available for guest use, but it is not guaranteed. Bring your own firewood if you are planning an evening fire.
No fireworks anywhere on the property.
Owner equipment
The property’s ATVs are for the owner’s personal use only and are not available to guests.
Get connected
The network name and password are written on the board on the kitchen counter.
Make yourself at home
Please help keep the house reasonably tidy during your stay, but do not stress over it. Our cleaning crew takes care of everything between visits.
Beyond the gate
Westgate River Ranch is nearby, with a water park, rodeo, restaurants, and more to explore during your stay.
